It all started in 2015, with drawings on paper and lively discussions by a friendly team of engineers and designers. In 2017, the core of the development team registered the company “Aviation Company “Vector”, which undertook the implementation of an ambitious project to create a light multipurpose helicopter VM-4 “Bumblebee”
During 2018-2020, a large amount of information was processed, various concepts for the construction of a helicopter and its modifications were formed, and the use of engines and units from different manufacturers in the design of a helicopter was modeled. The result of this work was a clearly formulated terms of reference for an innovative and very promising aviation development.
In 2021-2023, thanks to the fruitful work of the entire team, as well as thanks to the support of Ukrainian and international partners, the project received a powerful information impetus and enlisted the financial support of first seed investors, and then a large strategic investor. The work of the RnD center of the newly created Vector Helicopter Company should ensure the implementation of development plans during 2024-2025.
The project team, which has extensive and unique experience in the creation of helicopters, follows all the trends in the global aviation industry. We are constantly implementing innovative solutions, both in the design of our product and in its technical, technological and security components. We consolidate key developments and technologies for ourselves and develop them, striving to maintain leadership in an industry that will soon change the World.
